Ailing (Eileen) Gu on life after winning gold in Beijing, student worldview and “achieving the not possible”

Two-time Olympic freeski gold medalist Gu tells Olympics.com how her life changed during the 2022 Beijing Olympics in her home country. Chinese superstar maybe… she took the time to start studying at Stanford University in the US, but that didn’t stop her from winning. This will be tested at the Winter X Games in Aspen, but whatever happens in her freestyle skiing competition, she hopes to continue to inspire young girls from China, the US and around the world to “go out there and try it for themselves.”
