Alpine skiing: how to watch Mikaela Shiffrin live in Semmering December 27-29

Mikaela Shiffrin will be looking to add 77 World Cup victories to her tally when the elite alpine ski run resumes in Semmering.

From Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 December, the two-time Olympic champion will compete in two giant slaloms (the first replaces the opening event in Soelden, which was canceled due to unfavorable weather) and one slalom.

Since 2012, the American has raced eight times at the Austrian facility, taking four wins and a third place. The last time she stood on the podium in slalom was in December 2018.

After winning the super-G in St. The 27-year-old Moritz is in first place in the overall World Cup standings with 575 points, 105 points ahead of Sofia Goggia, who decided not to take part in the technical competition in Semmering.

This season, Shiffrin is fighting for her fifth overall title, which would put her second on the all-time winners list, behind Austria Annemarie Moser-Pröll which has six titles to its credit.

Shiffrin currently ranks third on the all-time list for most World Cup wins, behind him Ingemar Stenmark (86) and Lindsey Vonn (82).
