TAFISA wants to welcome two new trainees in 2023.

TAFISA (The Association for International Sport for All) is the leading international Sport for All organization. We strive to raise awareness of the benefits of Sport for All and physical activity around the world, and our vision is to create a better world through Sport for All. We support the promotion of sport for all and physical activity through our network of approximately 400 members in 180 countries and cooperate with, among others, the International Olympic Committee, the European Commission, UNESCO, WHO.

We are looking for ambitious, independent and motivated students who are ready to start an internship in January 2023. You must have a current university degree, be ready to complete a 6-month internship and be interested in Sport for All sectoral and international work.

Position: internship

Contract length: 4-6 months

Currently, you can apply for two internship positions:

Intern for communication, marketing and public relations Intern for communication, marketing and public relations

As an intern at the TAFISA office, your main tasks will be related to communication and marketing. You will also be involved in a variety of projects including planning and implementing a variety of Sport for All activities, programs and events. You will work on the following tasks:

  • Development and implementation of TAFISA public relations, communication and social media strategies.
  • Project coordination for various TAFISA publications.
  • Creating content for social media, websites and newsletters.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the performance of social media, websites and newsletters.
  • Monitor activities and events from relevant stakeholders in the field.
  • Continuation of daily activities supporting the Public Relations, Communication and Marketing team.

Familiarity with major social media and communication platforms and trends, including relevant related tools (Canva, Hootsuite, etc.) is preferred for this role.

Basic skills required:

  • English language level: fluent, minimum B2/C1 and first hand experience of working/studying in English.
  • Excellent written and oral communication (this should be demonstrated by the example of written text).
  • Current registration as a student in higher education.
  • Interest in non-profit work and the Sport for All Movement.
  • Fast learner and forward thinking with a strong sense of creativity.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and team player who can also work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to competitive deadlines by prioritizing workloads.
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ready to relocate and work in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

International Coordination of Projects in Sport Trainee

As an intern at the TAFISA Office, you will be involved in various projects, including the planning and implementation of various activities, programs and events related to Sport for All. The missions will consist of:

  • Coordination of projects and tasks related to the implementation of Erasmus+ projects.
  • Planning and coordinating flagship TAFISA events such as the 2023 TAFISA World Congress
  • Development and implementation of activities related to the TAFISA Member Engagement Strategy to improve the member experience.
  • Business development activities (e.g. research related to new business opportunities, project proposals, fundraising, grant applications, etc.).
  • Continuation of daily activities supporting TAFISA staff.

Necessary skills required for the position:

  • English Level: Fluent, minimum C1 and first hand experience working/studying in English.
  • Excellent written and oral communication (this should be demonstrated by the example of written text).
  • Current university enrollment (preferably those studying sports and physical activity or project management or a related field)
  • Interest in non-profit work and the Sport for All Movement.
  • Fast learner and forward thinking with a strong sense of creativity.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and team player who is also able to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to competitive deadlines by prioritizing workloads.
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
