Casablanca-Morocco, The General Assembly of the African School Sports Federation (AASF) was held on February 26-28 in the city of Casablanca.
The aim of the AASF is to develop youth education through sport by promoting sports and education policies and strengthening cooperation between various national entities.
Empowering youth and promoting civic values.
At the same time, the Kingdom of Morocco is organizing the African 3×3 Basketball and Volleyball Championships from February 26 to March 2, 2023.
The ISF delegation led by ISF President Laurent Petrynka took part in the General Assembly organized by the African School Sports Federation.

High-level meetings were organized between ISF President Mr. Petrynka Laurent, ASSF President Mr. Youssef Belqasmi, with the participation of:
Mr. Abdoulkader Daher – responsible for school sports and vocational training of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Djibouti.
Mr. Mahamat Seid Farag – Secretary General for Education and Citizenship of the Republic of Chad.
Mr. Mahmoud AL-Houri Minister of Education and Teaching of the Republic of Sudan.
Mr. Ngaiya Alfred le Grand Director of INJS in the Central African Republic.
Presentation of the ISF Academy:
It was also an opportunity to share the new ISF Academy, a new learning center for the International Federation of School Sports offering online and on-site capacity-building activities for teachers, school sports representatives, coaches, officials and students around the world. It is intended to recognize and/or update the knowledge and skills of any of these stakeholders involved at national, continental or international level.
