On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, ISF President Mr. Laurent Petrynka attended and gave a welcome speech at the annual general meeting of the School Games Federation of India.
The meeting took place online. ISF Executive Committee member Dr. Rajesh Mishra was present at the meeting.
Mr. Petrynka welcomed the participants and congratulated the hosts of the School Games Federation of India for their innovative approach in strengthening school sport and supporting students to be active in 2020. He presented the digital strategy used by the ISF in 2020 and emphasized the important role and valuable contribution of the Indian School Games Federation.
A new committee of the Indian School Games Federation was elected at the meeting. The ISF would like to congratulate Mr. V. Ranjith Kumar (elected President), Mr. Alok Khare (elected General Secretary), Mr. MSBadesha (elected Treasurer), Dr. Rajesh Mishra (Director General and member of the ISF Executive Committee) and all elected committee members.
In 2022, India will host the ISF Basketball World Schools Championship.
