The INTERACT Plus project has been successfully launched.

TAFISA is happy to announce that on February 9, 2023, the first meeting of the INTERACT Plus project partners has successfully started. INTERACT Plus is funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
INTERACT Plus is based on the completed INTERACT project, its recommendations, results and identified needs and expectations of ISO (international and European sports organizations). The project reflects our changing world (Impact of Covid-19) and aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by supporting and positioning ISO as key leaders in the Sport for All movement and physical activity. This will include the development of a new Sport for All delivery model and the creation of a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between ISO and their National Federations.
While the INTERACT and INTERACT Plus partners already met during the INTERACT Closing Conference in December 2022 and the first bilateral meetings that took place throughout January 2023, the kick-off meeting was an excellent opportunity to start the project.

The INTERACT Plus project partners are:

  • University of Limerick
  • World Minigolf Federation
  • World Dance Organization
  • Foundation of the International Table Tennis Federation
  • International Football Association
  • International University Sports Federation (FISU)
  • Confederation Boccistica Internazionale
  • European Flying Disc Federation
  • TAFISA

The project begins with presenting arguments for Sport for All in Ruch Sportowy and creating a narrative for the project. This comes hand-in-hand with the development from theory to practice and the updating and implementation of the INTERACT capacity-building framework. In addition, the project aims to create an INTERACT Plus label to create an incentive for ISO to promote sport for all. All these results will be achieved with the help of the INTERACT Plus Advisory Board, which is made up of various ISOs. The inclusion of ISO in the project is of great importance for the successful creation of measures for them to promote sport for all.

The INTERACT Plus project is funded by the European Union. However, the views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor the EACEA can be held responsible for them.
