International online KettleBell tournament – 29 players from India for the first time

For the first time in the history of Indian Kettlebell, such a large number of players from India are participating in an IUKL International Kettlebell competition.


Due to COVID19 most sports organizations had to cancel their international events. But due to not getting rid of this epidemic soon, sports organizations are finding new ways.

The online championship was also organized by the International Union of Kettlebell Lifting. All videos are to be sent to international organizations from around the world by 25 May. In the men’s category 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, and 40 kg, and for the female sections 12, 16, 20, 24, and 32 kg weight is organized.

Kettlebell is popular in India

Although Kettlebell sport is quite popular in India, most of the fitness gyms in India are used for fitness. But for the first time in the history of Indian Kettlebell, 29 players are participating in an International championship together.

Recognitions

Kettlebell is a recognized sport by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) member organization Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF). Kettlebell Sport Association India (KSIA) is recognised as the National Governing Body under the International Union of KettleBell Lifting (IUKL).

International Union of KettleBell Lifting (IUKL) is recognised from World Anti Doping Association (WADA) and The Association For International Sports For All (TAFISA) also.

Tournament Judges

Vasily Ginko (Latvia), Valentin Igorov (Russia), Alexander Makisimov (Russia), and Valentin Berbenchuk (Ukraine) are the judges of this online competition.
