Sports For All News: IRSF Rope Skipping Championship 2021-22 was organized at Vidya Bharati, Bhopal from 12th April to 15th April 2022. Players from all over the country participated in this championship. Under 10, Sub Junior, Junior and Senior boys and girls displayed their skills in the competition.
Harpal Singh Flora, Executive Vice President of International Rope Skipping Organization said that the International Rope Skipping Championship is being organized from 29 July to 4 August 2022 in North Carolina, USA, in which the Indian team will also participate. He told that Armature Athletic Union USA is a large and prestigious sports organization which organizes Junior Olympic Games and these games are known as AAU Junior Olympic Games. In America, this organization has seven lakh members and more than one lakh volunteers.
Along with the International Rope Skipping Championship to be held in USA, players will get a chance to participate in the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
IRSF President Varsha Bawa informed that he will continue the work started by the old working committee and this year five zonal, one Federation Cup, IRSF National, Inter-school, State level championship will be organized.
Apart from this, Indian players will also participate in South Asian, World Inter-School, IRSO World Championship, AAU Junior Olympic Games. More than one thousand new coaches will be trained in the country and rope skipping training will be started in about 500 new schools and same number of academies.
