Bruxelles, Belgium – October 3, 2023 – It’s been a few days, if not weeks, since students from around the world returned to the school desks. On this occasion, the International School Sport Federation (ISF) is thrilled to announce the commencement of the 2023/2024 school sports year, kicking off with the WSC Futsal 2023 in Belgrade, Serbia.
This year promises a total of six exciting events for our young athletes, including Futsal, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball World School Championships, and the Football World Cup. The year will culminate with the much-anticipated Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024. Each event will be complemented by educational programs (ISF Academy), continually improving to provide the best for young athletes, coaches, and accompanying staff.
In this new school year, ISF is introducing a groundbreaking event for Physical Education teachers: the World Teachers Games. Sporting activities, educational workshops, and conferences will be part of the world’s largest gathering of PE teachers.
