After three full years of exciting activities, the Europe in Action project is coming to an end!
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, the Europe in Action project launched in 2020 and aims to promote participation in sport and physical activity through analytical, educational and know-how activities across Europe that bring existing key policies into action.
At the beginning of the project, partners undertook a pan-European mapping of national sport policies and key results to understand how European sport policy translates into practical actions at national and regional/local levels. In parallel with the mapping, a first phase of collecting good practices was launched to give European Sport for All stakeholders the opportunity to learn from others’ successes.
2021 was another exciting year as project partners built on the data collected in 2020 to develop learning modules based on the key themes demonstrated in the Key Results Mapping. All 13 educational modules have been designed to fill the existing gap in non-formal education, support sports organizations in the implementation of programs and events and promote HEPA and Sport for All across Europe.
In the third and final year of the project, the project was an opportunity to bring the actors of Sport for All together to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as to present case studies and good practices. The partners developed key products, namely:
· Activation Capacity building platform
· Activation Database of Good Practices and Key European Policies
· Activation “County Insights” resources.
· Piloting three educational modules according to Capacity building workshop
· Hosting a Design Conference for European stakeholders
