At least 136 national or regional university sports federations have received invitations to the Heads of Delegation (HoD) meeting scheduled for late March in preparation for the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games (July 28 – August 8, 2023).
Delegations and representatives from around the world will gather in the Chinese city and visit the 46 competition venues, hear reports from the Organizing Committee on the preparatory work, and dine at the sports restaurant at the Chengdu 2021 FISU Games Village.
Delegations will also experience the unique culture of Chengdu on a day trip organized at the end of the visit.
The HoD Spring Meeting will undoubtedly serve as an important platform for exchanging information and answering questions ahead of the official opening of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games on July 28. 2023.
Twelve years after the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, Chengdu will be the third city in mainland China to host the Summer Games.
