Manama, February 13 – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The logo of the International School Sports Federation ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 was officially unveiled on Monday.
The logo was unveiled at a ceremony at the Bahrain National Theater in the presence of many senior officials, ambassadors and foreign heads of mission residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Majesty confirmed the Kingdom’s readiness to host the largest sporting event in October 2024, emphasizing that this event was made possible by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Ala Khalifa’s generous care for the youth and sports sector.
His Majesty expressed the hope that the event will contribute to the display of new school talents supporting sports clubs and the national team, and to the further implementation of sports goals. He stressed that Bahrain’s hosting of the event was a continuation of the Kingdom’s outstanding successes in organizing international sporting events.
His Majesty praised the cooperation of all the authorities concerned and their efforts for the success of the event.
For his part, Mr. Ishaq Abdullah Ishaq, Executive Chairman of the LOC for ISF Gymnasiade 2024, praised Bahrain’s continued support for athletes and the sports sector, stressing that this is a source of motivation for sports development efforts, a key element in the social and economic development of the Kingdom
The gradient blue logo of the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 represents the literal translation of the word “Al-Bahrain”, which means: two seas, in addition, the design is inspired by sea waves and depicts the four athletes used to highlight the four main
ISF pillars, including 25 triangles surrounding the Arabic calligraphy extracted from the ISF brand representing the 25 sports disciplines of the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024.
Regarding ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024
Bahrain is gearing up to host the International School Sports Games in October 2024. The competition will last 10 days, with the participation of 5,000 students from over 80 countries, in 25 different sports. 14 venues are dedicated to the Games, including athletics, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, boxing, taekwondo, karate, judo, table tennis, badminton, tennis, handball, volleyball, dance, chess, javelin throwing, darts, and the Paralympic Games.
